The lava lamp is significantly underfilled that when not in use, you cannot see any lava. It looks like an empty lamp. The orange wax (after three weeks of having the item) is turning black. Contacted the store for a return to have extensive back and fourth emails with them refusing a return, asking pointless questions, offering a discount for me to keep it, agreeing to a return, then telling me I need to send videos because the item looks normal. Having to file a chargeback/section 75 with my bank because this company doesn’t know anything about Consumer regulations/the law. I didn’t enter into a contract for a moldy, underfilled lamp. Shocking customer service too.

Lava lamps can naturally look different when switched off and fully cooled compared with when they are heated and operating, as the wax contracts and settles at the bottom of the bottle. We also worked with you to explore possible solutions and a fair resolution.

Honestly, the photos don't do this color combo justice. The matte black base makes it look so modern, and that purple-to-red glow is just insane at night. It’s definitely the coolest thing on my desk right now. 10/10 vibes.

Water inside was murky and not clear. Followed directions as followed. (Wait 24/36 hrs for sediments to clear and turn one for1 to 2)
Yellow and clear. They also put caution sticker on font of base and chipped all the black paint. Terrible.
The label is required for compliance, but it should never compromise the aesthetic of the lamp. You can gently heat it with a hair dryer to make it easier to remove.
If your product arrives with any paint damage, please take a photo and contact us right away. We will provide a free replacement.

I remember Lava Lamps from the '60s but never owned one. When we recently moved into our '68 MCM style house we thought a lava lamp would be cool. I wanted an "original" and ordered the color combo we wanted from Lumiosa. Unfortunately it arrived with a dented base. No problem! My email to Customer Service was answered immediately (allowing for different time zones) and a replacement part was shipped the next day! As we would have said during the Summer of Love, the lamp is Groovey and the company is Fab!

Yeah metal base my ass. The base and top of the cone look and feel like cheap plastic which is a real bummer considering the price of this thing.
